Frequently asked questions
Everything people usually ask before creating their first invoice.
What can I create with Invoex?
Invoices, quotes/estimates, proforma invoices and credit notes — each with line items, per-line tax and discount, document-level discounts, shipping and notes/terms. Quotes convert to invoices in one click.
Does Invoex follow international invoicing standards?
Yes. Documents support 30+ currencies, a configurable tax label (VAT, GST, TRN or Sales Tax), supplier and buyer tax registration numbers, sequential numbering with your own prefix, payment terms and an IBAN/SWIFT bank block.
How does the free trial work?
Every new account starts on a trial plan. Its length and allowances are set by the Invoex team and shown on the pricing page; when it ends, your data stays safe and read-only until you pick a paid plan.
How do plan limits work?
Each plan includes allowances (for example, a number of invoices per cycle). Usage is deducted as you create documents and resets automatically when your new billing period starts after payment.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by card through Stripe or with your PayPal account — whichever gateways are enabled, you choose at checkout.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Confidential data and personally identifiable information — client emails, phone numbers, tax IDs, addresses and bank details — are protected with the latest security measures and technologies, and every sign-up is verified by email. Security is reviewed continuously as the platform evolves.
Can I use my own currency and tax rate?
Yes — set your base currency, default tax rate and tax label in Settings, and override per client, per document or per line whenever you need to.
Do you support partial payments?
Yes. Record payments against an invoice as they arrive; Invoex tracks the balance and moves the status between sent, partial, paid and overdue automatically.
